Another positive day for the JSE

The JSE All Share Index closed higher again, although off its intraday highs, taking its cue from the strong performance on Asian and European markets earlier today. At the close, the JSE All Share Index had gained 539.53 points or 2.48% to end at 22 304 points with just over 244-million shares changing hands in 59 017 deals, worth more than R6.1-billion. Market breadth was positive, with advancing issues leading those declining by 256 to 126.
