The JSE ended positive today, due to strong gains in financial shares followed by an opening rally on Wall Street. The Top 40 index ended + 1.94% and the ALSI (All Share index) gained + 1.87% .
Resources were up +1.66%, gold stocks lost - 5.57%.
Banks showed healthy gains of + 4.60% and industrials were up +1.41%.
With the exception of gold stocks, there was green (+) across the board today!
