Just a short note to wish all my clients and readers a very happy festive season! 2012 has been a very interesting year for me and a testing one! I feel exhausted after taking on a huge life company, not wanting to honour a claim of Parkinson's Disease for one of my clients. After a long battle and a settlement before the long term Ombudsman the claim was settled. I then had a battle with the life company, as they tried to claim that I was not supposed to act in the client's interests; instead I should have acted in the best interests of the life assurance company. Needless to say, I will always look after the best interests of my clients! This is all in the past and I look forward to a rewarded break and will be back in action in mid Jan 2013!
